Cosco - .Worsening outlook !!!

further delivery delays and order cancellations. Management also guided that
margins for the shipbuilding & shipping divisions will continue to come under
pressure and that planed expansion of the ship yards has been scaled back.
Trading at 1.5x P/B we maintain our underperform rating and PO of S$0.45/share"

I extract the above statement from ML report dated 23Feb. Obviously the FA is getting from bad to worst , has the current price factor in the poor outlook going forward ? I am not sure also .

But looking at the chart , the key support at 0.765 . This level if breakdown might spell trouble , which could bring it down to around 0.665 . Stay Short ... ....

SingTel - Update

previously i expect singtel to hit 258 , it reach 255 and started to reverse down again ... very strong support at around 240 level ... ....

strong support at 8 , should this level breakdown , we can expect to see 780 . On the other hand , watch for breakup with good volume to rest recent high of around 840 .

Keppel Land - Update

since the breakdown on 13th Jan at around 180 level , kep land procced to do a freefall and touch 130 . Last friday , the counter come alive with huge volume and price surge . It breakup from the DC which i have identify , short term wise i expect the price to hit 150 follow by 156 soon . Watch out for it ... 130 remain a key support .

SingTel - Update

breakup with decent volume , could touch around 258 soon ...

Hang Seng Index Update (short term remain bearish ? )

HSI could turn down to touch next support at around 12400 ... ...

Temasek CEO Ho Ching To Step Down

Ltd. said Friday that Chief Executive Officer Ho Ching will step down in October and will be replaced by former BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP) CEO Charles Goodyear. "Ho Ching has been instrumental in bringing ''Chip'' on board. We have been working on this appointment for more than a year," Temasek Chairman S. Dhanabalan said in a statement. "The team has already embarked on a different stance since mid-2007, and has begun to review its long-term plans under various scenarios prompted by the economic downturn. The board is of the view that, if we are to bring in new leadership, it would be just as good a time as any to involve a new leader in this review," he added. Ho, who is in her 50s, has been Temasek''s CEO since 2004. She is the wife of Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

SGX is still caught under the long term downtrend line establish since Oct'07 , next support level around 493 . As such , stay short on this counter unless proven otherwise ... ...

STI Index - Update ( remain bearish ? )

support at 1677 , a break below will bring it down to 1640 level . short term wise i remain bearish on STI unless it can break up the recent high of 1780 .

it has fallen below 10/20/50 day MA , it has breakdown support of 79c once again .... likely to head down to 70c soon ... ...

strong support around 240 level , previously it always manage to bounce up from the support level , so a similar pattern could be on the card ... watch out for it ... first resistance level at around 265 follow by 282 .

EZRA - update

back on 8th Jan , i mentioned " short term wise the counter might have hit a top and the price could come down to around 70c level ... watch closely for re-entry opportunity ... "

Since then , Ezra has slowly come down and currently it downtrend is still intact . Next support level is at 64c . Failure to hold up at 64c could mean heading down to 54.5c . I would be very tempted to look for re-entry opportunity at that level .. watch closely ...

Olam - Turning bearish ???

Olam could touch 115(50 day MA) and if break down , then next key support at 110 soon .

STI Index - Update ( bearish ? )

back on 8th Jan , i mentioned " STI surge up faster than my imagination to hit a high of 1959 and retreated . Resistance level of 1845 now turn support , if this level fail .. the next level of support is around 1800 . watch closely for rebounce around that level . "

1800 was tested and STI could not bounce up and instead proceed to drop till 1700 before a weak rebounce set in . As such STI index short term uptrend has been terminated . Previous support of 1800 has now turn resistance . I believe after the budget and Obama stuffs are over , STI is likely to retest 1700 again and a break down( very likely) will bring it to 1640 at least , follow by 1600 . Interesting time ahead ... ...

Hang Seng Index - turning bearish ?

HSI has broke down from the short term up trend line . As such , unless it can reverse up immediately , I believe HSI will proceed to touch the next support level of around 13300 soon .

Our STI index follow HSI closely , so how would our STI react , your guess is as good as mine .

Keppel Land - Update ( turning bearish ? )

back on 5th Jan , i mentioned that " watch out for resistance at 184 , break up this level could mean 218 soon , support level at 155 , watch closely ... "

indeed kep land break up 184 and proceed to touch high of 202 . Since then , it has retreated and today it broke down the short term uptrend which i have identified . I believe Kep land could proceed to test 50MA of around 167 , and if break down , mean the next support of 155 soon .. watch out for it ...

Dow has broke down from the short term uptrend line which i have establish , it also closed below 10/20/50 MA . I believe it could be heading down towards support level of around 8360 soon .... .... if this level is again broken , then next support at around 8100 . Watch closely ...
